What is the difference between VRLA and traditional wet batteries?
Wet batteries contain liquid electrolyte and do not have pressurized sealing vents; they must be installed upright and can spill and cause corrosion if tipped or punctured. Wet batteries lose capacity and become permanently damaged if left in a discharged condition for any length of time or are continually over-discharged.
